Wet Panda, also known as Red Chimera and MITRE ATT&CK Group G0114, is a cyber espionage group assessed with high confidence to be of Chinese origin, with documented attacks first appearing in late 2018. This group's primary motivation is information theft, industrial espionage, and the acquisition of intellectual property. Wet Panda distinguishes itself through the use of its unique custom malware, SkeletonKeyInjector, and its historical targeting of Taiwan's semiconductor industry. In addition to Red Chimera, it has been tracked under various aliases including Bronze Vapor, Red Charon, THORIUM, Tumbleweed Typhoon, and Nuclear Taurus.
